Single-13/09/16

In this lesson we performed our previous monologues again but this time on video. This is so in 4 weeks time we can look back on these performances and track our progress and to see how far we have come as actors. I also made sure i added my improvements from my feedback in the last lesson to this performance to try and challenge myself in the future. Hopefully, this will push me to meet my full potential.

After we all performed our monologues our teacher split us up into two group. One group of 5 and one of 6. I was placed in the group of 5. Our teacher had set a 6 hour project in which we have to create a 5 minute performance inspired on the commission of  Terrorism and Freedom fighters. Many ideas came to mind as soon as this was said for example the horrific attack on the twin towers aka 9/11, London Bombings, Orlando Shooting (which was only just recently). However we had to brainstorm as a group on a piece of paper. Everyone flooded the paper with ideas only to discover that it was all jumbled and there wasn't a clear idea in sight. Everyone in my group was given the priority of coming up with an idea based around a mass shooting and the shooters perspective. So next lesson we will be able to conjoin all our ideas and start rehearsing straight away.

In this lesson I excelled in improving my monologue and contributing ideas to the group.
